PT. SUNDARLAL SHARMA LIBRARY

      The library is named after Pandit Sundarlal Sharma, the legendary freedom fighter,litterateur and social reformer. It is housed in a four-storied independent building with serene environment. The Library is centrally located in the campus. The seating capacity for reading is of 320. The building has two independent reading halls for textbooks and research periodicals.

       There are more than 100 encyclopedias available in the library. The library has 1,40,801 books, 28, 288 donated books,  8, 994 World Bank publications and 2,881 e-books. It houses 24,826 copies of theses and dissertations. The library is subscribing to about 135 Indian and 69 foreign research journals.

      The library is availing all facilities extended to it by INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, as both are closely associated since 1991. It received 7000+ e-journals under 'E-ShodhSidhu' scheme of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

       This is one among only 18 World Bank Depository  libraries of India. Since 2009 onwards, this library has become the e-library of World Bank.

        This library has a workstation for Research on micro data from Census.

         For differently abled readers, this library has a Braille printer, scanner & talking software.

         Under NME-ICT, this library provides free Broad Band internet facility to its readers. This has transformed the campus into a modern knowledge hub of higher learning.
