Teaching Department> School of Studies in Statistics

Department of Statistics has major emphasis on Industrial Statistics & Operations Research specialization apart from project work at P.G. level. At research level, guidance is available in Statistical Quality Control, Reliability Theory, Operations Research, Sampling Theory, Survival Analysis ,Theory of Deterioration. The Department is under the obligation to feed and train manpower required in various disciplines and industrial sector of this state. The dedicated faculty members, actively working in applied field of Statistics, have completed 9 research projects and produced more than two dozen of Ph.D.'s.
