                     The department has been established to coordinate the regional/researches mainly in different branches of social sciences. It undertakes the in-depth  study of the multidimensional aspects of regional problems. The centre is a recognized research centre for carrying out researches in Anthropology, Sociology, psychology, Economics, Geography, History, Linguistics, Home Science, Social work, Education, Agriculture and Management.
