The Institute of Management has AICTE recognition for an intake of 60
students. The basic aim of the Institute is to provide professional
education ,training & research in the field of Management to meet
the long standing needs of the young & talented students in the
state of Chhattisgarh of the region in particular as well as states in
the country .Fifteen batches of MBA's are passed out till today. We offer
specialization in four functional areas such as Marketing ,Finance,
HRM,IT
to our students . Students after completion of their first year course
undergo six weeks practical job training in various reputed business
organization in the country.

Infrastructure facilities:

Building:-
The institute is running in a new building constructed in
an area of 1275 sq.mtr.

Library
:- The books are issued to the teacher and the
student by the Central Library. But for ready reference a
departmental library is maintained in the institute ,where teachers
and students refer the books. The journals are available for
consultation in the Central Library.

Audio
-Visual Facilities :- To
make the presentation of lectures ,seminars and other academic
exercise more effective, the institute has its own well equipped
audio-visual set up. Overhead projectors ,Slide projectors and Video
are available for use of faculty and students .

Placement
cell :-There exists a Placement Cell in the institute. A
faculty in charge is there to look after the placement activities
all students are placed in various reputed organizations in
the country. In the current academic year ,several
companies visited our campus. A few
prominent among them are HDFC Standard Life, godrej Boyce, Kores, Future Group
etc. and selected more than 25 students from the campus.

Computer
Lab:- The institute has a separate computer lab.
There is a technical assistant to look after the activities of the
computer lab. The lab is well-equipped with the latest
versions of PC's available in the market and the requisite software
. At present 43 PC's are made available to the students
with internet connectivity.

Alumni
Association:-An Alumni Association exists in the
Institute. Every passing out student has to be the member of this
association. We are proposing to have first alumni meet some time in
December 2010.
- Young
Manager's Club:-For the total personality development of
our students there exist a student's club. It is an informal
association of MBA students of the Institute the basic aim of the
club is to promote academic and cultural activities of the
Institute.
