School of Studies in History

                     The School of Studies in History caters the need of higher education and research. It undertakes research in regional history as well as politico administrative and socio-economic history of Madhya Pradesh as well as Chattisgarh. It provides the facility of M.Phil. course in History. Further, the school is an advanced research center where students are registered for Ph. D. and D. Litt. degrees.

M.A 4 Semester Philosophy of Historiography, Modern World, Modern Indian History, History of Chhattisgarh and Cultural history of India 15 each in previous & final Rs. 730.00 /Semester Graduation with 45%
M.Phil 1 year Research Methodology, Sources of history, Philosophy of History 10 Rs. 6050.00  /Half Yearly M.A. with 55%
Ph.D. years(4+1) Open 6 students per teacher 5600.00 /Half yearly M.A. with 55% or M.Phil Through Entrance Exam.

         The M.A. course shall be based on semester system from the session 2006-2007. There shall be four semester consisting of four papers each.
