School of Studies in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology
It was established in 2001, it is one of the most important subject to know our glorious past. Chhattisgarh region has the richest heritage and antiquities. Our most trust areas in imparting Education are Regional History, Art History, Ethno Archaeology, Field Archaeology, Art & Architecture, Numismatic, Palaeography and Epigraphy. It offers M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs. SoS plans to start new programs like Diploma in Museology and Archaeology. In the near future SoS plans to start departmental museum and photo achieves, the SoS also will start exploration, excavation & preservation programs in collaboration with state and central department of archaeology (ASI).
